Signs it's time for a look

  • Grinding or scraping when you brake
  • Squealing that won't go away
  • A pulsing or shaking brake pedal
  • The car pulls to one side when you stop
  • A brake warning light on the dash

What we do

  • Front and rear pads and rotors
  • Calipers, slides and hardware
  • Clean and lube for squeaky brakes
  • Electronic parking brakes, put into service mode with our scan tool
  • Swollen or rusted lug nuts, removed and replaced

Worth knowing

"Can't you just do pads?" Sometimes, yes. If the rotors are thick enough, smooth and not warped, pads alone can be fine. Most of the time we recommend new rotors with new pads, because today's rotors are thinner and new pads on worn rotors can squeal, vibrate and stop weaker. Either way, we'll show you what we see and you decide.

Parking brake button instead of a lever? Then your rear brakes need a scan tool to put the parking brake into service mode before anyone touches it. We bring one to every job.

Sometimes you don't need brakes yet. We've shown up for a four-wheel brake job, found plenty of pad left, and cleaned and lubed the brakes to stop a squeak instead. We'd rather tell you what you don't need than sell it to you anyway.
