Suspension: signs to watch for

  • Clunks over bumps
  • Loose or wandering steering
  • A hum or growl that gets louder with speed (often a wheel bearing)
  • Uneven tire wear
  • A bouncy ride

Suspension: what we do

  • Struts and coil-over assemblies
  • Control arms
  • Tie rod ends and sway bar links
  • CV axles
  • Wheel bearings and hubs

Worth knowing

Plan on an alignment. After struts, control arms or tie rods, your car needs an alignment at a tire or alignment shop. We don't do alignments, so we'll remind you.

Some water pumps are shop jobs. On some engines the water pump sits behind the timing chain. That's a job for a full shop with a lift, and we'll tell you so up front.
